Overview

Join RICS Matrics Glasgow for an informative session focused on the APC Ethics and professional standards, hosted at Newmark’s Glasgow office.

Ethics is a mandatory part of the APC for all candidates, and this session will cover the fundamentals in a clear and practical way, including how ethics is assessed within the APC.

Led by two presenters, it will explore key ethical principles and real-world examples, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout.

Attendees will gain practical guidance on demonstrating professional judgement and preparing for final assessment.

Whether you’re just starting out or close to final assessment, there will be something to take away for everyone!

There will also be time for questions, along with an overview of the candidate support available through RICS, including mentoring and online resources.

Photographs may be taken at this event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please make the Matrics host and/or photographer aware.

The opinion and advice about the RICS Assessment process given during this event is based on our speakers experience and does not necessarily reflect the advice given by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. As a candidate, you should ensure that you are familiar with the RICS Candidate Guidance for your route, the relevant RICS Pathway Guide, and the RICS Requirements and Competencies Guide, as well as current advice on the Assessment process.

In addition, The RICS Candidate Support Team in your region provide free-of-charge support to candidates on all routes to assessment, including APC, Assoc and Senior Professional. Their support includes drop-ins, 1-2-1 advice and guidance, online resources, podcasts and webinars.
