Overview
Carbon management for quantity surveyors presented by Sustainability Management Consultants Emma Houston and Nick Gorrie from Troup Bywaters + Anders.
This session includes an introduction to BREEAM, UK NZCB and RICS' WLCA, and discussion around environmental awareness establishing itself in larger companies and the wider sustainability ecosphere.
The opinion and advice about RICS' WLCA process is based on speaker experience and does not necessarily reflect the advice given by RICS. As a candidate, you should ensure that you are familiar with the RICS Candidate Guidance for your route, the relevant RICS Pathway Guide, and the RICS Requirements and Competencies Guide, as well as current advice on the Assessment process.
In addition, RICS' candidate support team in your region provide free support to candidates on all routes to assessment, including APC, Assoc and Senior Professional. Their support includes drop-ins, 1-2-1 advice and guidance, online resources, podcasts and webinars.
