Overview

We are delighted to establish a new collaboration with BCS (who are the Chartered Institute of British Computer Science) 

This course examines sustainable practices and the internal and external drivers in the information and communication technology industry. We will discuss the importance of green policies, the need for carbon reduction plans, the standards to meet, e-waste reduction policies and the ICT industry’s carbon footprint.

Green IT Policy

  • Delve into an example green policy and learn how to reduce E-waste and create a carbon reduction plan.

ICT Contribution to carbon footprint

  • Learn how ICT impact the environment and how this can be measured.

This course is aimed at those with a further personal stake in polices and making larger departmental changes.
