James Baker FRICS
Managing Director, Invise Ltd
James is a Chartered Building Surveyor working throughout the East Midlands and UK with extensive experience in a number of sectors including leisure & hotels, retail, commercial, housing, emergency services, education, residential and health. He is Founder and Managing Director at Invise Limited based in Derby, offering Building Surveying, Project Management and Cost Management Services. A Fellow of RICS and an active RICS Member having held the following roles: RICS Matrics UK Chairman from 2015-16 and a Board member prior to that, RICS Governing Council member 2015-19, RICS East Midlands Regional Board Chairman from 2017-19 and Board member prior to holding that role; finally James is also an APC Assessor for the Building Surveying and Project Management Pathways. James has also recently joined the editorial advisory group for the RICS Built Environment journal and has been a judge for the RICS Awards for the past few years. At Invise, James offers a ranges of services including: building surveys, pre-acquisition advice, project management, employers agent, contract administration, design, construction advice, planning advice and applications, dilapidations and all landlord and tenant matters, party wall surveying, reinstatement cost assessments, expert witness, feasibility studies and much more. James works closely with Investors, Developers and Estate Manager’s. In addition, James works with many APC candidates, supporting and coaching them through their APC.

Ian, a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 25 years' experience in the UK and Hong Kong, specialises in Building Surveying and Fire Risk Assessment, focusing on high-risk residential structures post-Grenfell Tower. He serves as an APC assessor and contributes to the Building Surveying and Building Control Professional Group Panel, shaping the future of the industry through RICS.

Poppy Martin MRICS

Poppy is a chartered surveyor in the south west, working across the south of England and south Wales; specialising in rural estate management. Poppy studied at the Royal Agricultural College before qualifying as a surveyor with Savills. She has a broad range of experience in estate management related work including property management, leasing and letting, landlord and tenant, sales of land and property and providing strategic advice to clients. Poppy is a former winner of the RICS Young Surveyor Award - Land (Urban & Rural) Category, former committee member of Bristol Matrics and judge of the RICS Surveyor of the Year Awards. She looks forward to her involvement with the Land and Natural Resources PGP and is particularly interested in developing the Next Generation and looking at how we can implement technology into our roles.
David Sandbrook FRICS

David is an independent consultant specialising in mineral and waste management property issues. He chairs the RICS Land & Natural Resources Professional Group Panel and contributes to the RICS Knowledge & Practice Committee, while also serving as a Director for the Katherine Martin Charitable Trust and an operational member of the Derby Mountain Rescue Team.

With 46 years in construction and property, Antonia led her own business until 2021 and now champions LGBT+ and women's equality in the industry. A Board Director for multiple organisations, she was awarded an OBE in 2022 for her contributions to equality in business.
Sharon Slinger FRICS

Sharon leverages over 20 years of experience to help built environment organisations enhance diversity and inclusion. Founder of LGBT+ in Facilities Management, she has been recognized in the OUTstanding/FT Top 50 Future Leaders list and has won several awards for her contributions to D&I.

Dayle Bayliss FRICS
Chartered Surveyor, Dayle Bayliss Ltd
Dayle, a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager with 13 years of practice, has served on the RICS Matrics UK and Ireland board and Governing Council. She is Vice Chair of Orwell Housing Association, Chair of Orwell Homes, and a former Board Member of the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.
