Overview

An analysis in the variety of inspections to identify and remedy typical defects within construction industry and the most common knowledge gaps found resulting in incomplete diagnostics for buildings in Hong Kong will also be presented. Various concepts will be highlighted throughout the day, together with case studies and facilitated group discussions to stimulate knowledge will be shared among delegates

After this course you will be provided with practical knowledge that will help you to improve building surveying related activities such as writing reports and providing services to your clients. The trainer will also analyze the most common gaps of knowledge that result on incomplete diagnostics of different types of commercial properties.

Meet the trainer

Mr PF Chan MRICS

BSc, MPM, MHKIS (BS,PFM), MCIOB, MHKIE, FHKICM, BEAM Pro, RPS(BS), RPE(BUD), AP(S), RI(S)

Mr PF Chan is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 30 years post-qualification experience in building surveying practice with regard to the control, development, maintenance and management of various kinds of properties embracing the core competences of the RICS building surveying pathway. He has been the RICS APC assessor/chairperson since 2005. He also serves as assessor / council member of other local professional institutions in building surveying and construction management respectively.
