Overview
Constructing the East Midlands: A Live Site Tour for RICS Professionals.
Join RICS professionals for an exclusive behind the scenes tour of a major social regeneration project in Leicester, offering a rare opportunity to see best practice construction delivered at scale. The morning will begin with informal breakfast networking, providing the chance to connect with fellow professionals and members of the project team.
The visit will showcase the delivery of 110 high quality social and affordable homes, designed to meet local housing needs while driving long term community benefit. During a guided tour of the live site, attendees will take part in a CPD discussion led by the project team, exploring the challenges and opportunities of delivering complex residential development.
Built to PAS 2030 sustainability standards, the scheme highlights how energy efficiency, carbon reduction and retrofit principles can be embedded into new build projects. This practical, on site experience combines professional insight, discussion and a close up view of construction in action.
Site boots will be necessary but all other PPE can be provided. Refreshments and food will also be provided on the morning.
