This session explores sustainability in real estate from a financial perspective, focusing on how building performance, energy efficiency, and capital expenditure influence asset value and risk. It will also include an update on sustainability regulations in Oman and highlight how initiatives such as those led by Oman Sail contribute to both cultural change and long-term financial value.

After welcoming and thanking our host, we will have a screen presentation where Anahita will talk about sustainability at its practical form in real estate and its impact on asset value. Anahita will also highlight how environmental initiatives can influence not only culture and behaviour, but also financial outcomes and market value, and will mention that we will later hear from the Oman Sail team about the initiatives they are undertaking. Finally, Anahita will point out the sustainable school and Green Building Council formation initiatives in Oman, where preliminary steps have already been taken and where we remain open to co founders and collaboration. |
