RICS Matrics Bristol: Early Engagement - Outreach Group

Overview

RICS Matrics Bristol is setting up an outreach group to support secondary school students and introduce them to the surveying profession. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to spare a day, half a day or a few hours of their time to help support secondary school students.

The aim of the group is to support Bristol Works, an education and employment initiative run by Bristol City Council that connects local secondary school students with regional employers.

If you are interested in finding out more about the the Matrics Bristol Outreach Group, we would like to invite you to a coffee morning at Commune Café – One Castlepark Tower Hill, Temple Hill, Bristol BS2 0JA on 17 November from 8:45am–10:00am.

This coffee morning is a great opportunity to hear more about who Bristol Works is, what they do, how you can get involved and meet other potential volunteers. You can choose how much time you are able and willing to volunteer. Coming along to the coffee morning does not commit you to volunteering. You can decide whether you would like to get involved after attending and finding out more.

A ramp is available to the café via the main entrance at One Castlepark.

Accessible toilets are also available.

Photographs may be taken at this event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please make the Matrics host and/or photographer aware.
