Overview
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is now a core part of modern construction and asset management, yet many Building Surveyors remain unsure how it applies to their day‑to‑day work.
This introductory webinar offers a clear, practical overview of BIM, demystifying key terminology, processes and standards, and explaining how surveyors can confidently engage with BIM‑enabled projects across different stages of the building lifecycle.
Designed specifically for building surveyors, the session explores how BIM supports better decision‑making in areas such as condition surveys, dilapidations, planned maintenance and asset management. Through real‑world examples, attendees will see how digital models improve accuracy, reduce risk and enhance collaboration, while gaining the essential principles and confidence needed to operate effectively in a digital construction environment.
