Property Management is a competency often selected by candidates, mainly those undertaking the property-based routes to the Assessment of Professional Competence. It is a field of work that many surveyors undertake in general practice. It is however much more than just being aware of service charges and landlord and tenant relationships.
Learn how to effectively demonstrate and deliver your competence at all stages of the assessment process: during training, during the submission stage, and at interview.
Look at all aspects of the competency and identify the areas of work commonly included within this competency. Define the differing level 1,2, and 3 competencies; find out what assessors and chairmen are looking for within your submissions; appraise real-life competency examples, both good and bad, and finally get some top tips to help you be successful with this competency.
This class is run by an experienced chairman and assessor. There will be an opportunity within the training module for you to ask questions at the end which meet your own needs.


The training will include practical tasks and examples, and will aim to engage the candidate where possible throughout the presentation.  There will be opportunity for questions and answers at the end of the session in order to address any individual pathway or membership route concerns.
