Overview

This course provides a guide on the methods used to maximise the performance of corporate property assets for a single and large range mixed-use property, as well as portfolios in industrial, office and retail.

Participants will be guided through the differences between properties held as investments or operational assets and assess the risks involved when managing these assets. Participants will learn how to apply successful asset-management solutions that can save your company time, money, and management issues.

Meet the trainer

Matthias Loui, Senior Executive Director, Knight Frank Malaysia

Matthias has over 28 years of working experience in real estate property valuation services, property development and property management. His expertise includes the marketing, leasing and management of prime properties, in particular, high-rise commercial buildings and high-end gated residential development owned by prominent property developers.

He has successfully formulated and implemented building operational procedures in numerous prime commercial buildings; in the process continuously achieving high occupancies and rental rates. He was involved in the successful repositioning and planning of the concept/tenants mix for both the retail and office components of the said building.

He led the team on the leasing and promotional activities for the building; and the planning of the facilities management befitting the 5-star rating of the building.

Course structure

The course will be delivered combining technical references and practical exercises. During practical, delegates will also be drafting out the asset management plan to apply the knowledge acquired during the day.
