Get fit and network at the same time!
The RICS East of England Regional Board and Matrics Committees invite you to our fifth netwalking event, designed to help surveyors and other built environment professionals develop their network in an informal setting, while also getting fit and improving their mental health!
We encourage everyone to attend, from those starting off in their careers right up to senior management level, with the aim of building a supportive community of knowledge sharing and lasting professional relationships.
The walk will be led by David Ousby MRICS, an RICS East of England Board member and qualified mountain leader. The route will be a walk up to the Wildlife Trust site Beechwoods, with the option to continue the conversation at the nearby Arthur Rank Hospice Café. Participants are advised to wear sensible footwear, and to bring waterproof clothing in case of wet weather, and sunscreen/hat and a bottle of water for hot weather.
Meeting point will be in the car park for Babraham Road Park and Ride, CB22 3AB. Parking is free.
By bus: PR4 from stop D2 Drummer Street in Cambridge.
By bike: the site is easily accessible by bike and has secure bike parking.
