Join us at the Pick Everard London Office for an evening session on Loss and Expense claims with some light refreshments throughout and an opportunity for networking afterwards.

This session will be delivered by Andrew Cornish MRICS, MCIOB, with an MSc in Construction Project Management and over 35 years’ experience working with contractor’s and consultancies having submitted and defended numerous loss and expense claims. 

The talk will be pertinent to both Contract Practice and Contract Administration competencies as part of the Quantity Surveying & Construction pathway. If you are on an alternative pathway, understanding this topic is of vital importance and can rear its head in all construction projects.

You will learn: What to do if there is a chance of delay, disruption or breach of contract, how to manage an Employer who is reluctant to pay as well as a Contractor who is unable to substantiate their request. 

Loss and expense claims frequent our industry and the difference between the amount claimed by the Contractor and the amount paid by the Employer, is often due to a lack of understanding of industry guidance and established principles that will be provided in this event.
