RICS Matrics London: Seminar - Solar PV

Overview

Join us at the RICS HQ for an evening RIBA accredited session exploring fundamentals of Solar PV systems and their role in sustainable buildings. Sponsored by Garland UK, this session will provide practical insights into how solar PV technology can be effectively integrated into the built environment.

The session will be delivered by Max Hubbard, Solar Technical Manager at Garland UK, who brings over 15 years of experience in the solar industry. Beginning his career installing systems in 2008, Max now specialises in the design of solar PV arrays across residential, commercial and industrial buildings, with a focus on systems that integrate effectively with roofing and building envelope solutions.

Whether you are involved in surveying, construction, design or project delivery, this session will offer valuable knowledge on the growing role of renewable energy technologies. The event will also support candidates working towards the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), particularly within the Construction Technology and Environmental Services and Sustainability competencies.

Following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to continue the conversation and network with fellow built environment professionals over light refreshments kindly provided by Garland UK.
