RICS Matrics Northern Ireland: Candidate support - CPD - Bamboo in residential properties

Overview

Join RICS Matrics Northern Ireland for a lunchtime CPD session on bamboo in residential properties, presented by Seasonal Outdoor Services.

Bamboo is a popular garden plant, but its spread can create challenges for homeowners, neighbouring properties and surveyors. This session will explore the practical issues associated with bamboo, including identification, potential impacts on buildings and external areas, and approaches to management and removal.

The session will provide a useful opportunity to develop your understanding of what to look for during residential inspections and the advice clients may need where bamboo is present.

Connect with fellow professionals and gain practical insight into an increasingly common concern in residential surveying.

The opinion and advice about the RICS assessment process given during this event is based on our speaker’s experience and does not necessarily reflect the advice given by RICS. As a candidate, you should ensure that you are familiar with the RICS candidate guidance for your route, the relevant RICS pathway guide and the RICS Requirements and competencies guide, as well as current advice on the assessment process.
