Course information
Over the years, the application of BIM across the construction industry has shed light on how digitalization can support collaboration, a vital element in unlocking societal and commercial value in the complex, multi-disciplinary work of quantity surveying and project management professionals.
To maintain a competitive offering, you must be able to implement and manage BIM effectively in your projects. This course will cover the BIM competence requirements at Level 2, by taking you through the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and key contractual documents, explaining the BIM management process, and comparing BIM solutions at different stages. Learn to apply BIM according to ISO 19650 and equip yourself with a collaborative approach to the information management cycle.

Learning outcomes
Explain the value of BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and formulate its content

Illustrate a collaborative approach to the information management cycle and maintain an information model
