MEA Resilience series 3: client care, standards & asset decisions webinar

Online

Overview

This webinar forms the third event in the RICS Middle East Regional Resilience Series: an initiative led by RICS UAE to explore how built environment professionals can respond positively and practically during periods of uncertainty.

The session will be delivered as a three-person panel, moderated by Tim Shelton FRICS, with two experienced chartered building surveyors sharing practical insight from their work with clients across the region.

Although the panel will be led by building surveying professionals, the discussion is relevant to all RICS members and professionals advising clients across real estate, construction, asset management and the wider built environment.

The session will explore the importance of maintaining professional standards, client care, communication and sound judgement when clients are under pressure to make difficult decisions.

It will also include a practical regional case study from the hospitality sector, looking at how some clients are using current market disruption as an opportunity to accelerate refurbishment, asset improvement and condition-led investment decisions.
