自 1976 年首次发布以来，《红皮书》全球估值标准持续定期修订，以确保与市场发展保持一致。这一标准在国际估值领域享有高度权威与广泛认可。最新修订旨在进一步巩固全球高水平的估值准则，并确保相关实践与时俱进。更新内容基于广泛的利益相关方反馈，主要包括：
- 与其他国际标准及监管要求保持一致，特别是 2024 年 1 月 31 日发布并于 2025 年 1 月 31 日正式生效的《国际估值标准》(IVS)
- 增补有关建模与估值方法的全新内容
- 针对科技发展及环境、社会与公司治理 (ESG) 等新兴领域的实践与流程变化进行调整
