The RICS Matrics Surveyor Awards return for the 13th year, offering a platform to recognise and elevate early-career professionals across the UK who are making a real impact in the built environment. Open to students, apprentices, candidates and members qualified up to 10 years, the awards highlight individuals who are navigating industry challenges with professionalism, innovation and ambition.
Nominating yourself or a colleague is an opportunity to gain visibility, build credibility and benchmark your achievements against the highest standards in the profession. By celebrating diverse talent and real career journeys, the awards support progression, open doors to new opportunities and inspire the next generation to see what is possible within surveying.
Nominations are invited from students, apprentices, candidates and members (qualified up to 10 years). Entries are open from Monday 30 March.
Matthew Tallis, winner of the Matrics Surveyor of the Year Award 2025
Nominations are now open for Matrics Surveyor Awards 2026, with categories listed below.
Nominations close on 22 May 2026.
Your submission should clearly describe the individual’s suitability for an Award and demonstrate a connection to the judging criteria, highlighting a commitment to professionalism and ethics. This is where you want to make it clear to the judges exactly why your submission is deserving of the award.
Please note that this will not be a PDF upload, you will need to complete free text sections within the online form, including an introduction and responses to each applicable element of the judging criteria. Word limits have been applied to each free text box in accordance with the criteria weighting.
