RICS Middle East & Africa World Regional Board Welcomes New Members

14 January 2026

The RICS Middle East & Africa World Regional Board (MEA WRB) is delighted to announce and introduce five new appointments. For the member positions, the following individuals have joined the board:

Julien Romanet MRICS
Noura Yassin MRICS
Sonia Mehta MRICS

For the non-member positions, we are pleased to welcome:

Suzannah Fairbairn (Dentons)
H.E. Dr Ali Al Jassim (Society of Sustainability & Green Materials)

As part of their new roles, the new board members will join and continue to strengthen regional collaboration and professional excellence across MEA.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the appointment panel for their time, commitment, and expertise throughout the campaign. The panel was chaired by Haroon Niazi FRICS, Chair of the MEA WRB, and supported by Nicky Dobreanu FRICS, MEA WRB Member, and Sarah New, Independent Recruitment Panellist. Their contribution was invaluable to this comprehensive process.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to those board members who will be stepping down after reaching the maximum six-year tenure later in January:
