RICS Japan Member Engagement Group

RICS is pleased to recognise the long-standing contributions of the Japan Member Engagement Group (MEG) – an established initiative that for many years has been supporting RICS members, promoting professional standards, and enhancing the organisation’s presence within Japan’s built environment sector.

The Japan MEG brings together a team of experienced and dedicated RICS professionals from across the local market who continue to work collaboratively to:

• Organise and promote local CPD and networking events
• Support APC candidates and emerging professionals
• Act as ambassadors for RICS standards, ethics, and values
• Strengthen engagement with industry stakeholders and the wider surveying community
• Expand awareness and recognition of RICS across Japan

Operating in alignment with RICS’ global best practice for member engagement, the Japan MEG has provided an essential link between local professionals and the international RICS network for many years. Through its sustained efforts, the group has played a vital role in fostering collaboration, supporting professional growth, and promoting excellence within Japan’s surveying and real estate sectors.
