We are delighted to welcome Kenneth Wood FRICS as the new Chair of the UK and Ireland World Regional Board (UKI WRB) and a member of the Global Members Committee (GMC).

Kenneth officially starts his term on 8 August 2025, succeeding Simon Prichard MRICS, who steps down after a successful term as Chair. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Simon for his invaluable contributions during his time in the role.

“I feel privileged to be able to represent RICS and its member base as Chair of the UK&I World Regional Board and member of the Global Members Committee. In my career, I have worked alongside a great number of different surveying disciplines. How they all come together under the RICS banner, for the improvement of members and society has long been of interest to me. The key to our future success will be continuing to improve local engagement at all levels, across these different surveying disciplines. This will be a key focus in the coming period. In short, I am really excited about the future and meeting with fellow board/committee members as we continue to help shape our profession for the future.”
