Chief Executive Officer, Southeast Asia, Savills

Chris joined Savills in 1995. As CEO, Chris manages and oversees the entire operation of Southeast Asia and works out of the Singapore office.   Having arrived in Asia in 1990, Chris has lived in both Hong Kong and Singapore and covered most markets and disciplines in the Asia Pacific Region. Alongside his operational responsibilities he sits on the Asia Pacific Executive Committee which determines strategic direction for the business in the region. During his time, he has played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Singapore operations in 1995, and subsequently restructured the business in 2004. Chris has also been involved in, or led numerous corporate acquisitions in South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and strategic relationships for the group. More recently Chris has taken an active role in how technology can be leveraged within Savills and the broader industry.

Head of Capital Markets, Asia Pacific, CBRE

Greg Hyland is the Head of Capital Markets, Asia Pacific for CBRE. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for all of CBRE’s leading Capital Markets teams across the region. He is accountable for the day-to-day management of all capital markets businesses and operations including real estate investment sales, capital advisory and debt & structured finance across all sectors. Throughout his career, Greg has positioned himself as one Asia Pacific’s leading real estate capital markets professionals and established deep relationships with some of the world’s leading real estate investors. Greg has been personally involved in some of the region’s largest transactions. Since joining CBRE, the team has been ranked the #1 commercial real estate advisor by MSCI Real Analytics, with the largest market share in Asia Pacific for consecutive years since 2020.

James Young FRICS

President – Markets, APAC & EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield

James is Cushman & Wakefield’s President – Markets for Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific. In this role he is responsible for the growth of the company’s business across these regions, working with our largest clients on both the investor and occupier side. This includes the enhancement of our core Sector specialisms, such as Offices, Retail, Logistics & Industrial, Living and Alternatives, as well as working with Service Line leaders including in Capital Markets, Agency Leasing, Tenant Rep, Valuation, Asset Services and Project & Development Services. Over the last 6 years, he has helped build the firm’s Investor platform across the EMEA region, including identifying key areas for growth in the region and implementing strategies to capture this. In 2023, he added the APAC region to his remit and in April 2023 relocated to Singapore to spearhead the development of Cushman & Wakefield’s APAC Investor Services platform as well. He took up his current Markets position in June 2025. James is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA & APAC Executive Committee and co-Chairs the Global Capital Markets Executive Committee.

Nicholas Maclean, OBE, RD, FRICS

President, RICS

Nicholas Maclean is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is the President and Chair of Governing Council of RICS. In this role, Nick utilises his experience to provide leadership that continues to drive the Institution’s priorities of raising the influence of the profession with lawmakers and regulators; ensuring that the initial and continuing development of skills in surveying remains fit for purpose; and that the value of being a Chartered Surveyor is fully appreciated by clients, the members and the general public. He has previously served as an elected member, then interim Chair, of the RICS Governing Council, and as an interim RICS Board Member and Chair of the RICS Membership Services Committee. Prior to taking up his previous position on Governing Council, he was a member, then Chair, of the RICS MENA Market Advisory Panel. Nick now lives and works in the United Kingdom, having previously served as Co-Chairman & Managing Director of the CBRE Middle East Region, which he established in 2004. He left the business at the end of 2024, after 37 years, to concentrate fully on the RICS Presidential role. He is a Global Scot; the Scottish Government’s Trade & Investment Envoy to the United Arab Emirates; and received the First Minister’s Award for Services to Trade and Bilateral Relations in 2023. He was made OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List in 2024. Nick is also a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and an Honours Member of the Institute of Revenue, Rating & Valuation. He is the former Chair of the Lillian Sutton (SoC) Endowment Charitable Trust. He holds the Reserve Decoration and has been named by Arabian Business as one of the 100 most influential people in the UAE and, in 2023, as one of the Top 100 Executives in the UAE.
