Overview

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into the way we work, from data analysis to reporting and client engagement, understanding how to use these tools responsibly is now essential for professionals and firms. RICS has introduced a new Responsible Use of AI professional standard which will take effect in March 2026. This standard focuses on ethical, transparent and accountable use of AI and how it should support, not replace, professional judgement and client trust.

We’re delighted to partner with Omega RE for a breakfast networking event featuring a CPD session and panel discussion on this important topic.

Key topics

  • A clear overview of the RICS standard’s purpose and practical implications
  • Insight into how AI tools are shaping surveying, valuation, and agency work
  • Guidance on ethical use, risk management, transparency with clients, and maintaining professional control over AI outputs, key principles that will soon be expected in practice.
