Overview

Receiving a claim can be a stressful situation for all involved. However this session aims to dispel the fear and worry should this situation ever occur by clearly outlining the practical steps to be taken.

We will hear from Michael Jones FRICS, who over a 40-year career has advised on all types of property, across the West Midlands. During this time he ran his own firm and completed hundreds of surveys. Most recently he was a consultant for GJS Dillon. From his extensive experience, the knowledge that he would like to pass on is what to do if a claim arises both in a practical sense and how to deal with it personally.

We will also be joined by Sue Cooper of Howden Group insurance who will explain the insurability of companies and the pitfalls involved in not having the correct insurance or the appropriate initial response and subsequent actions to be taken in the unfortunate event of a claim.
