Jo works within the Asset Management Team in the National Trust where she provides guidance on energy efficiency, compliance, carbon reduction and heating system advice. Jo will be talking about historic buildings, retrofit solutions & materials, risks and technical considerations and regulations and planning including EPC and MEES legislation.
Nathan Greenwood, International Trade Adviser - National Farmers Union (NFU)
Nathan joined the NFU in 2024. He routinely engages with the Government regarding the negotiation of free trade agreements with countries around the world, including the EU. He also leads the NFU’s work to build British agri-food exports abroad. Nathan will be speaking about the Government’s forthcoming reset with the EU, the opportunities and risks it poses for British agriculture and how it will impact all farmers on the ground, even if they don’t export their produce.
Paul Batho MA FRICS FRGS, Consultant, Author and Presenter
Specialising in valuation, investment and finance, Paul worked for 20 years in consultancy in London. Subsequent posts include Director of Studies at the College of Estate Management, Chief Executive of NARA and Programme Director at Cambridge University. He has authored several RICS professional papers.

Paul’s presentation will examine the new RICS Professional Standard on Land Agreements for Development Purposes, outlining the principal matters to be covered and explaining how the agreement can be tailored to cover specific requirements.
James Pryor, Senior Analyst - Knight Frank
Since joining Knight Frank in 2021, James has worked on projects across residential and commercial property markets, including with rural estates. His main focus is innovation in real estate and data analytics.
James will share his work with Knight Frank’s specialist Viticulture team and explains how data and technology are helping winemakers secure best-in-class sites for their operations.
