Overview

The 2026–29 business rates list came into effect in April, introducing new rateable values for non-domestic properties across England. Now six months into the new list, this webinar will review how the revaluation was undertaken, the evidence behind the new assessments and what the changes mean for the commercial property sector. Drawing on recent industry guidance, market insight and practical experience, the session will look at the impact across sectors including offices, retail and industrial property, with case studies and lessons learned from the first six months. It will also consider how business rates interact with wider valuation, leasing and asset management decisions.

By the end of the session, attendees should be better equipped to understand the implications of the 2026–29 list, consider business rates within their wider commercial property advice and recognise when specialist rating input may be required.
