Each year, outstanding achievement, teamwork, and companies are recognised across Hong Kong and 2026 will be no different.

The RICS Awards creates a unique platform to showcase innovations and achievements in Hong Kong’s built environment, as well as encourage development and advancements within the industry. Continuing these good causes, the RICS Awards aims to attract wider participation from the sector, whereby promoting the highest professional standards, pioneering better places to live and work, and creating a force for positive social impact. We look forward to receiving visionary and inspiring nominations this year.

Experts from the judging committee will score each application and the winners will be announced at the Hong Kong Awards Ceremony in 23 October 2026.

Ada is the Chief Operating Officer of CBRE Advisory Hong Kong, where she drives strategic growth and lead business operations and supports the delivery of high-quality advisory services across diverse sectors. With extensive experience in real estate, corporate governance, and professional standards, Ada is widely recognised for her integrity, leadership, and forward-looking perspective. Ada is renowned for her strong commercial acumen with a collaborative leadership style to deliver high impact results. She champions innovation, sustainability, and best-in-class professional practice; she is passionate about advancing the real estate profession and fostering collaboration across the industry. Ada is a Fellow of RICS and a Chartered Town Planner (RTPI). She is the recipient of the 2024 RICS Women of the Built Environment Award. Ada holds an LLB degree, along with degrees in Architecture & Town Planning, and a Master’s degree in Urban Design.

Mr WONG On Wa, Edward is the Deputy Director of Architectural Services overseeing the Department with around 2,000 multi-disciplinary professionals, technical and site supervisory staff for design, construction and maintenance of Government buildings and facilities, and provision of technical advisory services. Mr WONG is a Registered Architect. He has over 25 years’ experience in the building industry after his registration. With 20 years of service in the Government, Mr WONG has held various roles since 2006, including Architect and Project Manager in both Architectural Services Department and the Energizing Kowloon East Office (EKEO) under the Development Bureau (DEVB). His extensive experience encompasses design, contract management, building quality control, consultancy management, and advisory services.

Graeme Torre joined Hongkong Land in 2026. He is responsible for the management and performance of the Hong Kong Central portfolio. Mr Torre brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in real estate and investment management across Asia Pacific. Most recently, he led APG Asset Management’s APAC real estate business. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Invesco Real Estate and Henderson Global Investors.

Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning), Faculty of Architecture; Director of BSc(Surveying); Associate Professor, Department of Real Estate and Construction, The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Architecture

Isabelle is an as Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) of the Faculty of Architecture, Director of the BSc (Surveying) Programme, and Assistant Professor at the Department of Real Estate and Construction, University of Hong Kong. Her research targets construction and environment management, focusing on health-centric environments, safety, trust, and culture in the digitizing Architectural, Engineering, Construction, and Operations industry. She employs innovative technologies like EEG and VR, securing numerous competitive grants and publishing over 90 international works. Isabelle is the Joint Coordinator of the Working Commission W112 at the CIB and Co-Chair of the ACUUS Youth Group. In education, she has obtained funds for innovative learning and serves as an academic assessor for various surveying programs. Industry-wide, she is Chairman at the Institute of Safety and Health Practitioners, an Executive Committee Member of HKFOSHA, and Chairman of the Policy Advocacy Task Force at CIC YAC. Isabelle was honored with the RICS Woman of the Built Environment Award 2024.

Ir Jason Cheung is a Project Manager of Hip Hing leading the design and construction of Kai Tak Sports Park development. As the speaker of different industry conferences, seminars and technical visits, he has demonstrated his commitment to the promotion of digitalization in construction project delivery. Jason is also dedicated to serving the community as a multi-disciplinary professional. With his wide spectrum of knowledge in engineering, digitalization, law and arbitration, he has served as the members of 7 Government Advisory Boards and Committees, including the Advisory Committee on Built Heritage Conservation and Administrative Appeals Board. With his professional achievements and dedication in public services, he was the recipient of various local and international awards, including RICS Emerging Achiever of the Year Award 2025, the HKIE Young Engineer of the Year (Merit) 2023, Young Lo Pan Award 2022 and the HKICM Construction Building Services Coordinator (Grand Award) 2018.

Mr John Russell SAUNDERS has been an Executive Director and a member of the Finance and Investment Committee of Link since January 2026. He has been the Chief Investment Officer since March 2024. He oversees portfolio asset management, investment strategy and third party capital partnerships, and is a responsible officer under the Securities and Futures Ordinance as well as a director of several Link REIT subsidiaries. Based in Hong Kong for more than 30 years, he has extensive property industry experience and a strong investment and asset management track record across the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Link, he held senior real estate leadership roles at BlackRock and MGPA, and earlier worked at CLSA and Hongkong Land. Mr SAUNDERS is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, and holds a Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management in the United Kingdom.

Consultant, North Asia, Rider Levett Bucknall

Ling Lam, is a consultant at Rider Levett Bucknall and a respected leader in the built environment sector, recognised for her strong project leadership and commitment to advancing the profession. Ling currently serves on the RICS Hong Kong Regional Advisory Board and has contributed extensively to industry governance, including her previous role as Chairperson of the Association of Consultant Quantity Surveyors, representing the QS consultancy community. A passionate advocate for professional excellence, Ling has long supported talent development as an assessor for professional examinations across multiple institutions and as a juror for major industry awards. Her dedication to education is reflected in her contributions as a guest lecturer for HKU’s MSc programme, a speaker for CIC Master Classes, and an external examiner for university programmes. Ling was awarded the RICS Woman of the Built Environment Award in 2021 and received the HKIS QS Award of Excellence in 2022 for her outstanding contribution to promoting the QS profession.

Ma Suk Ching Mabelle MRICS

Mabelle Ma has been an Executive Director of Swire Properties since August 2021. She is also the Director, Development and Valuations of the Company responsible for new acquisitions, property development and valuations in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Mabelle joined Swire Properties in 1996. Prior to her roles in Development & Valuations, she held a senior position in the Residential Sales division of the Company and was responsible for the sale of almost 10,000 residential units over the period of her tenure. Outside of Swire Properties, Mabelle sits as an Excom member of the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Hong Kong (REDA); and Corporate member of the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong & Macau). Mabelle graduated in 1990 from the University of Hong Kong with a BSc (Quantity Surveying) and became a Fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 1995 and 1996 respectively.

Mark Hahn is a member of both The Royal Institution of Surveyors and The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. He is a graduate in Land Management and has over 38 years’ local and overseas experience in property acquisitions, disposals, developments, leasing, management, valuations and research as well as international fund raising covering different sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential and mixed used projects located in various regions including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam. He is presently a Director of Henderson Property Agency Limited and Head of Sales (2) Department at Henderson Land. He joined the company in 2013. Prior to joining Henderson Land, he has held various senior posts including department heads and proprietor at several leading international property consultancies, Associate Director at Sino Land and Country Head/ Asia Director at Grosvenor. He has also previously served as Independent Non-Executive Director of two HKEX listed companies.

Prof. Ng Shiu Tong Thomas FRICS

Prof. Ng is Chair Professor of Smart and Sustainable Construction in Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. He assumed the roles as Associate Vice-President (Campus Development, Facilities and Sustainability), Chief of Campus Development, Facilities and Sustainability, and Head of Department. His research interests cover a wide range of topics including smart city, sustainable built environment, community resilience, infrastructure asset management, digital transformation, construction informatics, construction performance and productivity, project delivery systems, etc. Prof. Ng has secured more than HK$170 million of research grants through 132 research projects. He has published over 500 scholarly items, and 300 of which being international refereed journal papers. Prof. Ng is listed amongst Stanford University’s Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide. His research excellence has earned him the Chartered Institute of Building International Innovation and Research Awards 2012: Project Innovation Award – Highly Commended Award and other international research paper awards. Prof. Ng is a Member of Technical Committee of Thermal Performance and Energy Use in the Built Environment set up by the International Organization for Standardization. He is Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institute of Building, Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, etc.

Steven Yiu MRICS

Steven Yiu MRICS

Executive Director, Airport Operations, Airport Authority

Mr Yiu was appointed Executive Director, Airport Operations, in December 2022. Mr Yiu has been in the aviation industry for over 30 years. He joined Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) in 1995 and held various management positions in airport operations, including technical services, airfield and terminal management. He was General Manager, Terminal, at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport from 2009 to 2012. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Hong Kong Airport Management Co. Ltd. Mr Yiu is a Registered Professional Surveyor. Prior joining AAHK, he was actively involved in numerous airport developments, including the refurbishment of Kai Tak Airport, New Airport Master Plan, and construction of Macao International Airport.
