Devaluing Commercial Rental Evidence

The structure of the commercial rental business has changed in recent years as the market has introduced a greater range of incentives and flexibility to lease terms.

Among the items the valuer has to consider in addition to the headline rent are:

  • premium payments
  • timeline and amortisation options
  • stepped rents 
  • extended rent free payments.
