The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicky Bowen, as Market Director for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Nicky joins RICS with more than a decade of international leadership experience across APAC, EMEA and the Americas, partnering with global organisations to drive transformation, capability building and strategic growth in complex markets. She has demonstrated success in developing executive thought-leadership, building high-impact client programmes and scaling cross-regional teams, expertise that will support the RICS’s mission to elevate standards and strengthen professional capability across the built-environment sector in APAC.
She most recently served as Managing Director, APAC & Global Head of Content & Solutions at Tigerhall, a Singapore-founded workforce transformation platform. Prior to this, Nicky spent eight years at The Economist Group in London and Singapore, ultimately serving as Global Head of Programs. In this role, she led international teams to deliver thought-leadership, policy and research initiatives for corporate, government and academic partners, covering themes including sustainability, climate risk, global trade, antimicrobial resistance and ocean policy, often shaping public discourse and executive engagement around these issues.
Nicky commented:
“It’s a privilege to join RICS and lead our work in APAC, at a time of positive transformation for both the organisation and across the diverse built and natural environments in the region.
“I look forward to building even closer connections with our members, industry partners and policymakers to expand the value RICS brings to the profession and create meaningful impact across the region.”
