Overview

Birmingham Local Members Group invite you on an exclusive tour of the Curzon Street station site.

We will find out how the building process has gone so far and how obstacles have been overcome as well as find out the next steps in the journey to bringing HS2 to Birmingham. The Curzon Street Station is set to be an impressive station and a memorable entrance to Birmingham – come and have a sneak peak at behind the scenes!

6 Point PPE is required. This includes:

  • Orange Jacket
  • Orange trousers
  • Boots
  • Glasses
  • Hard hat
  • Gloves

Access will be denied if suitable PPE standards are not met. If you need to borrow PPE – please email your shoe size and clothing size to dhamilton@rics.org before 20th May.

By car: Parking is located at Millennium Point car park- Howe Street, Birmingham, B4 7AP (what3words: oval.files.fuels) The site is within Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone.  To check if charges will apply to your vehicle, please visit the Birmingham City Council website. 

Walking: The site is a 10/15 min walk from New Street and Moor Street Station

Please arrive for 10:00am for a short presentation and health and safety briefing. We will then go on a site tour which will take about an hour. The event is due to end by 12:00.
