Wayne Godwin is Managing Director of Broll Hospitality, a platform that combines global hospitality expertise with Broll’s umatched Africa depth as the continent’s pre-eminent property services company, operational since 1975. The result is a single advisory relationship spanning the full hospitality investment lifecycle; from feasibility and development advisory, through operator selection and capital markets, to RICS-compliant valuation, asset management, and ongoing facilities performance. With over two decades of real estate experience across Africa, Wayne is widely regarded as one of the region’s leading hospitality strategists. He has delivered assignments in more than 43 countries, covering capital markets, valuations, feasibility, operator selection, asset management, and development advisory. He previously held a CEO position within an international real estate firm, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams across regions, while also leading its Hotels & Hospitality division in Africa and serving as Head of East Africa, based in Nairobi. Wayne holds and MSc in Property Studies from the University of Cape Town, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Wits Business School, and a BA in Tourism Development from the University of Johannesburg.
