We are pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Hamilton MRICS as the new Chair of the Qatar Regional Advisory Board. Neil’s time as Chair began in late August, succeeding Adrian Camps FRICS, who has now stepped down after 6 years as Chair. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Adrian for his invaluable contributions, dedication and leadership during his time in the role, and for successfully passing the reigns to Neil.

Chair of the Qatar Regional Advisory Board, Director, Quantex Qatar L.L.C.

Neil is a seasoned Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 44 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked across the UK, Australia, and Qatar. He moved to Qatar in 2009 as a Director at Davis Langdon, where he had played a pivotal role in the firm's operations for over 14 years. A Grade A Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), Neil became the Founder / Director of Quantex Qatar in 2012. Quantex Qatar is an independent, locally based Grade A Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy firm and regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. In his leadership role at Quantex Qatar, Neil has built a strong ethos around client care and delivery, ensuring exceptional service at every stage of a project. On his appointment as Chair of Qatar Regional Advisory Board in August 2025 he stated “It is a privilege and honour to be appointed as Chair of the RICS Qatar Regional Advisory Board, and my vision for the next three years would be to consolidate the position of the RICS Qatar Chapter and build on the foundations of my predecessors, whilst upholding the highest professional standards for the built and natural environments and ensuring the public interest is being served, and growing the membership by raising the profile of the RICS across the GCC region.”
