Overview

AI is no longer just an emerging technology, it is becoming more mainstream every day.

But what does it mean? How can we embrace it?

While we definitely are in exciting times, there are also some pitfalls to be aware of.

This presentation is a brief overview of what is behind AI and how we might use it to research and prepare claim submissions, as well as an introductions to the Guidelines that the RICS has published on the use of AI.

He has more than 25 years’ experience working on a broad range of construction projects in the Middle East, Ireland and Hong Kong, and has spent the last 10 years working in dispute resolution including claims preparation and assessment. Andrew has been involved in several arbitration proceedings including roles as appointed independent expert on matters of quantum, and has been cross examined at arbitration. Prior to his consultancy roles, Andrew spent many years as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in the main contracting industry which provided him with valuable insight and understanding of the issues that arise in construction disputes and the means to identify potential solutions for their resolution
