North West Treatment Hub Site Tour

Join us for an exclusive site tour hosted by Sydney Water showcasing the North West Treatment Hub, a major infrastructure program supporting the rapid growth of Sydney’s north-west. With the region’s population expected to double by 2056, Sydney Water is delivering a suite of upgrades to ensure the wastewater system continues to operate efficiently while protecting the health of our waterways.

The North West Treatment Hub program includes upgrades across three Water Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRFs) serving the region: Castle Hill, Rouse Hill, and Riverstone. These improvements will increase treatment capacity, enhance system resilience, and support sustainable urban development as communities across the north-west continue to expand.

This site tour offers RICS members a unique opportunity to gain insight into how Sydney Water is planning for future growth, delivering complex infrastructure upgrades, and maintaining high environmental standards. Attendees will hear directly from project representatives about the challenges and opportunities involved in delivering essential water infrastructure for a rapidly growing city.
