Punggol Point Woods

Asia Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) was engaged by the Housing Development Board to provide project management consultancy services for the public housing project Punggol Point Woods. This development comprises six residential blocks ranging from 5 to 22 storeys and a total of 940 flats. AIS was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Building Contract. We also implemented advanced construction technology tools and techniques to stay at the forefront of the industry. The project’s attainment of the BCA Green Mark Gold Plus Award and Active, Beautiful, Clear Waters Certification reflects our commitment to sustainability, as evident in our work.

Asia Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) was engaged by the Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH) to provide Planning and Construction Management for Singapore’s first integrated healthcare project, Woodlands Health. The team has proudly conducted themselves professionally and proactively and has been instrumental in working closely with the Client and Stakeholders to collaborate and be in sync throughout this journey. Despite the scale of the project and the challenges encountered, AIS provided the leadership with support from all parties involved in overcoming any obstacles and steering the way to ensure on-time and successful completion of the project.

Package B – Mandai Bird Park and West Node has been Nominated for RICS Best QS Team for 2024. The Team consists of Josephine Lee (ED). Tan Joo Tong (Senior Consultant), Joyce Hooi (Director), Gautham Palanivelu (Director), Gerrard Goh (ESQS) and Ngoh Shu Qi (EQS). Despite facing challenges due to the project’s scale and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Project Team persevered, dedicating years of effort to ensure satisfaction for both clients and contractors. The CapitaLand Innovation Fund was set up in 2021 with a S$50 million commitment over five years to support the testbedding of innovations in the built environment space, with a strong focus on sustainability. It also hopes to source for solutions that will help us meet CapitaLand’s sustainability goals. The three main innovation pillars of CIF are CapitaLand Sustainability X Challenge, the Smart Urban Co-Innovation Lab and the CIF internal problem statements call for innovations. To date, it has committed to support 72 pilot projects globally, out of which 33 are sustainability related.

Achieve Higher Efficiency | CBM Solutions

CBM Solutions, a subsidiary under CBM, exceeded the expectations of City Developments Limited (CDL), as they were commissioned to implement energy-saving opportunities for the 148 air-conditioning systems found in Singapore’s towering Republic Plaza. By leveraging on emerging technologies and focusing on replacing the moving parts of each AHU, the company was able to substantially save S$5 million and reduce 380 tonnes of CO2 annually, among other tangible improvements. Their success has overflown to other CDL properties, further engaging other facilities like Palais Renaissance and City Square Mall with similar energy-saving endeavors.

Sentosa Sensoryscape, is an attraction that has embraced nature-inspired architecture with technology to offer an immersive physical experience to visitors. Located centrally on Sentosa, the vast 30,000-square-meter Sentosa Sensoryscape connects Resorts World Sentosa in the north to the island’s southern beaches via a walkway adorned with six sensory gardens that feature soundscapes, interactive digital light art and some augmented reality (AR) features. It is a very unique and bespoke project that has little repetition built into the design, but plenty of complexity. Sentosa project team made the decision to approach this job with a DfMA mindset.

Regional Director, SEA, CCi, a Rimkus Company

Trudie is a Regional Director for Asia Pacific at CCi, A Rimkus Company and she runs Singapore office which provides delay, quantum, and technical expert services on some of the world’s largest and most complex construction disputes and insurance claims.   

Trudie is a Chartered Building Surveyor with 21 years industry experience gained in the UK and Asia Pacific, including 13 years focusing on surveying practice, contract administration and project management, and 8 years specialising in forensic delay and timeline analysis for the insurance and reinsurance markets.    

Trudie has experience across many sectors including construction, energy, power, downstream oil and gas, infrastructure (roads, rail, and ports), and mining on major and complex losses ranging up to USD 500M across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Central America with an emphasis on Delay in Start-up, Business Interruption, and Construction All Risk insurance claims.

Trudie Moeller MRICS

Managing Director, Colliers International

Professional Summary Bastiaan is the Managing Director for Colliers in Singapore. His responsibilities include the strategic direction of the Singapore office, to lead the growth and diversification initiatives, ensure superior service delivery and develop market leading teams.

He oversees all business lines including Capital Markets, Investment Sales, Occupier Services, Valuations & Advisory, Industrial Services, Hotel Advisory, Research, as well as Marketing & Communications and the Human Resources and Finance Teams. Pertinent to this assignment Bastiaan was the Head of Occupier Services in Singapore and has led complex transaction projects for diverse global multinationals and investors throughout the entire Asia-Pacific region. 

In Asia - Pacific, Bastiaan lived and worked in; Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia and Australia. 

Education 

Masters of Science in International Real Estate Markets, with commendation, from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland 

Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Studies from the Netherlands

Bastiaan van Beijsterveldt

Managing Director, Singapore, Turner & Townsend

Khoo Sze Boon, the Managing Director of Turner & Townsend Singapore, brings over two decades of professional experience to his role. His extensive background includes senior leadership positions in international consultancy practices. 

Sze Boon was the President (Quantity Surveying Division) [May 2017 to April 2021] and Chairman (Central Management Committee) [June 2020 to April 2021] of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers (SISV). He has been active in thought leadership, where he has presented at international and regional conferences on pertinent topics such as Collaborative Contracting, Pre-fabricated Pre-Finished Volumetric Construction (DfMA-PPVC), Value Management, Early Contractor’s Involvement. 

Sze Boon is actively representing the QS fraternity in various industry committees in the Singapore Built Environment Industry, such as - Construction Industry Joint Committee (CIJC), BCA BIM Steering Committee, BCA Rebranding Implementation Workgroup (RIWG), BCA BuildSG Tripartite Committee, BCA Collaborative Contracting Working Committee and BCA's Buildability & Quality Advisory Committee (BQAC); as well as in the regional arena – Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS), where he represents SISV on the PAQS Board and is also part of the PAQS Education and Accreditation Committee.

He also sits on University Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) with Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS) and is currently the Chair of the RMIT-SIM PAC. He is also a member of the Department Consultative Committee of National University of Singapore (NUS) - Department of Building. In his SISV role, he has been instrumental in championing the Industry Transformation Map Action Plan for QS.

His aspiration is to achieve better recognition and standing of the QS professional in Singapore Built Environment Industry through the Accreditation of Professional QS Scheme in Singapore. 

Sze Boon was awarded the RICS Construction Professional of the Year in 2020 and was conferred the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) Medal in 2019.

Khoo Sze Boon FRICS

Managing Director, CBRE Vietnam

As the Managing Director for CBRE Vietnam with total staff of over 1,000 professionals, Hang oversees all CBRE Vietnam business activities as a strategic advisor to investors, occupiers and developers across the residential, commercial and industrial markets. 

Hang services the real estate property requirements of the many multi-national corporations with a presence in Vietnam as well as local developers and investors. In the last 25 years, Hang has been in various leadership positions in real estate firms including Vingroup, one of the biggest local developer in Vietnam (Vincom Retails JSC & Vincom Office).

Hang began her real estate career in Richard Ellis (former CBRE) and later took on the Managing Directorship at Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam.

Hang Dang FRICS

Head of ESG and Sustainability Services, CBRE SG

David is the Senior Executive Director, Head of ESG Consulting & Sustainability Services for CBRE APAC. Prior to taking on this important assignment, David held the roles of Senior Executive Managing Director for Property Management in the United Kingdom, Managing Director, Asset Services, Singapore and Southeast Asia, and Regional Director, Asset Services, Pacific (Australia and New Zealand).

In each role over his career, David led the Sustainability business within the Asset Services & Property Management business lines. Prior to joining CBRE, David led the Investment Property Management business for Knight Frank in Australia.

His strengths are driving excellent client outcomes through strong leadership, strategy development and execution, galvanizing teams through implementing positive change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

He is a passionate advocate for creating an environment where people thrive, building communities and connections, integrating technology, sustainability, and people to help shape the future of the workplace and real estate.

David Fogarty FRICS

CEO, CPG Facilities Management

Alan Goh is the CEO of CPG Facilities Management Pte Ltd (CPG FM), a facilities management services company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of CPG Corporation Pte Ltd.

He oversees and heads the facilities management business, striving to grow CPG FM's presence as a leader in sustainable facilities management. Believing that sustainability is imperative, Alan spearheads efforts in partnering clients and property owners on managing, operating, and maintaining their facilities and real estate sustainably, working towards a greener built environment.

Alan Goh

Head of Business Development & Commercial Management, C&W Services

Ross oversees C&W Services (Singapore) strategic direction and provides support and leadership to all levels within the business. With more than 20 years’ experience working with high-profile and large-scale private public and private sector clients and companies in Europe, Africa, and Asia, with a primary focus on exceeding expectations and facilitating strong and reliable business growth.

As Head of Business Development and Commercial Management, he is results-driven professional with a successful background in recognizing and negotiating profitable business opportunities, designing, and implementing successful Sales and marketing strategies.

Prior to joining C&W Services he was the APAC Bidding Director for ISS services with responsibility for Regional Facility Management opportunities.

Ross Green

Executive Director, AIS

Ho Swee Sun is an Executive Director at Asia Infrastructure Solutions, bringing over 30 years of quantity surveying consultancy experience to this role and a track record of proven success in both public and private sector projects.   

He has worked on building and civil engineering works of various types, sizes, complexities, and procurement arrangements. End market sectors covered include commercial real estate, residential, education, healthcare, infrastructure, aviation, sports, hospitality, recreational and industrial.  

In this capacity, he leads the project team in all aspects of cost and contract management services, implementing procurement and contract strategies to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.  

Swee Sun is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers. He holds a MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution from NUS/King’s College and a BSc in Building from NUS.

Swee Sun Ho MRICS

Managing Director, Mentabuild

Seth is the Managing Director of Mentabuild - a market leading construction consultancy firm established in 1984, providing Quantity Surveying, Project & Construction Management and Environmental Advisory Services with 130+ staff and a portfolio of over 1,100+ projects.

Seth has over 22+ years experience and an accomplished international track record of projects across Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Middle East and the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the RICS, a member of AIQS and CQS and also currently serving on the RICS Southeast Asia Regional Advisory Board, the Management Committee of the AQST and is an active RICS and AIQS APC Assessor.

Seth has previously served as Chairman for the RICS ASEAN QS & Construction Group Board and has attended and presented multiple Quantity Surveying related subjects at local and regional levels for various events and associations including AQSA, AIQS, SISV, PICQS, AQST, ABAC University, University of Malaya and KLT.

Seth Leong FRICS

Head of Research & Consultancy for Malaysia, JLL

With over 25 years of real estate consultancy experience at JLL, Yulia Nikulicheva advises investors, developers, and tenants on their real estate assets. Her expertise includes conducting feasibility studies, devising investment strategies, performing highest and best use analyses, developing single asset or portfolio strategies, and conducting analyses tailored to specific client requirements.

Regular data collection and reporting on market trends, as well as researching trending real estate topics, are also part of her research activities. Previously, Yulia led the JLL Russia Strategic Consulting team, where she advised clients on property assets located within the former Soviet Union territory. 

Yulia holds an M.A. in Real Estate Investment and Finance from the University of Reading Henley Business School. She has been a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2007.

Yulia Nikulicheva

Datuk Sr Siders Sittampalam is the Managing Director of PPC International Sdn Bhd and a graduate in Estate Management from UK with an MBA in Real Estate from Sydney. He is registered with Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers, Malaysia (BOARD) and  

  • a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)  
  • a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Surveyors, Malaysia (RISM)  
  • a Fellow of Malaysian Institution of Property and Facility Managers Malaysia (MIPFM)
  •  a Fellow of the Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector Malaysia (PEPS) 
  • and a Qualified and Accredited Mediator of the International Mediation Institute and the RICS.   

 

Datuk Siders was the Past President of PEPS. In 2021, he was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the RISM. He was also awarded Valuer of the Year (2022 – 2023) by the BOARD.

Sidsapesan Sittampalam FRICS

Managing Director, Construction Disputes & Advisory Core, Ankura Singapore

Faye is a Managing Director in the Global Construction Practice Ankura in Asia. She is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years of experience on a wide range of construction and engineering projects in the building, infrastructure and oil and gas industries.   

She has been appointed Quantum Expert Witness on several occasions and given evidence under cross-examination in arbitration, including giving concurrent expert evidence (“hot-tubbing”). Prior to acting as appointed independent expert witness she was also the lead assistant to other named experts on more than 20 occasions in international proceedings.
