The Panel heard a case against Mr John Griffiths and his Firm John Griffiths Associates for failure to provide information to RICS as reasonably requested (Rules 8 and 9 of the Rules of Conduct for Members 2007 and Rules 14 and 15 of the Rules of Conduct for Firms 2007) and for failure to arrange a policy of appropriate professional indemnity insurance run-off cover for the Firm (Rule 3 of the Rules of Conduct for Members 2007 and Rules 3 and 9 of the Rules of Conduct for Firms 2007).
The Panel imposed a Reprimand upon Mr Griffiths and the Firm in relation to charge 1 and imposed conditions upon Mr Griffith’ continuing membership and the Firm’s registration with RICS in relation to charge 2. It also ordered Mr Griffiths and the Firm to contribute towards RICS’ costs.
