The RICS Governing Council strongly endorses the Bichard Review report and recommendations and will refocus to ensure we are a truly member-led organisation delivering quality services that enhance member experience.

Placing public interest at the heart of our work, we will maintain professionalism through independent regulation for the public advantage and deliver clarity, accountability and transparency in our governance. This profession is uniquely placed to help tackle the world’s most pressing challenges, so we will lead on issues that matter such as sustainability, climate change and diversity, equity and inclusion.

As we implement these transformative changes, developing the next generation of surveyors and giving them a voice to shape a future focused, inclusive profession will be fundamental to our success.
