The registers contain details of property professionals who have attained a recognised standard of knowledge of the SKA rating environmental assessment method for fit-out.
Since the launch of SKA rating in November 2009 over 200 assessors have joined the two schemes (Offices and Retail) and it is rapidly becoming accepted as the leading sustainability assessment method for non-domestic fit-out and refurbishment projects.
An annual accreditation exists for SKA rating assessors to support all active assessors to maintain their level of knowledge about SKA rating, keeping abreast of changes to the system and best practices.
The annual accreditation adds value to assessors by reinforcing professional standards and raising client confidence in the quality and consistency of assessor services offered in the marketplace. This is achieved through the established register of accredited assessors, access to technical support, updated training, and a system of quality assurance monitoring.
