Your purchase of the RICS Knowledge & Competence Subscription Package, RICS Knowledge and Competence Enterprise or the RICS Qualification Package, (“Subscription”) will be subject to our general terms and conditions, the RICS Training and Events Special Conditions and these Special Conditions. You should read all of these documents together. Unless otherwise stated in these Special Conditions, the defined terms in our general terms and conditions, conditions of sale and the RICS Training and Events Special Conditions shall apply here also.

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these four documents, they shall apply in the following order of precedence:

(i) these RICS Knowledge & Competence Subscription Package special conditions; and then

(ii) the RICS Training and Events special conditions; and then

(ii) the RICS conditions of sale

(iv) the general terms and conditions.

1. Term and scope of the Subscription

1.1. The Knowledge and Competence Enterprise Package is open to both qualified members and non-member of the RICS. Subscribers to the Qualification Package must be enrolled as RICS candidates and be undertaking their APC

1.2. Each Subscription shall be for a term of 12 months (or such term as stated within the order confirmation) (“Subscription Term”). Access to the Subscription contents shall expire at the end of the Subscription Term subject to any renewal.

1.3. When purchasing the Subscription as a ‘corporate’, you will be required to nominate an individual within your organisation as your “Key Contact”.  Discounted rates are available for multiple Subscription purchases. .  Only one discount can be applied to the purchase of a Subscription and applications of any discount are at the discretion of RICS.  The Key Contact will be responsible for managing the Subscription and will be required to nominate the individuals within your organisation that you wish to have access to our training/events (each individual being a “Subscription User”). Where you are purchasing as an individual, you will be the Key Contact and Subscription User.

1.4. For all multiple subscription purchases, including Knowledge and Competence Enterprise packages, adding new Subscription Users to an existing Subscription needs to be done at new price points

1.5. For Knowledge and Competence Enterprise customers, Subscribers must use their organisation’s email address to be included in the organisation’s dashboard and to be eligible for the multiple purchase discount, personalised landing page and dashboard.

1.6 If you fail to make payment of the Fees due in respect of your Subscription or at any time during the Subscription Term, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Subscription immediately and without notice. You may still remain liable to pay for the remainder of any Subscription Term and any sums paid up to the point of any suspension of termination are non-refundable.

2. Change of Subscription User

2.1. Each Subscription User shall have a right to attend as many of the training/events as they wish to during the Subscription Term, subject to availability.

2.2. You are not entitled to transfer the access to the Subscription between individuals within your organisation or to transfer access to anyone else without our express written agreement (which shall be at our sole discretion). We reserve the right to refuse access to any individual that is not a Subscription User.

2.3 For Knowledge and Competence Enterprise customers an organisation may remove a subscriber and replace with another for 10% of their subscribers.  Changes to be made on 1st working day of each month.​

3. Booking training/event places

3.1 Subscription Users will be required to book a place for a given training/event in advance of their attending.
