Pledge to end youth homelessness

Pledge to end youth homelessness

If you lost everything tomorrow, what would it take to rebuild your life?

This year over 80,000 young people in the UK will be homeless. Homelessness means not having a place to call home – a place that is secure, decent and affordable and where you have a right to stay.

Through our partnership with LandAid, the property industry charity, and with the support of our professionals, our Pledge150 campaign will deliver 150 bed spaces to young people in need across the UK.

Miltonduff Distillery dates from 1824 and is located in Elgin in the north of the famous Speyside whisky region. It is rarely bottled and made available as a Single Malt Scotch Whisky, therefore single cask bottlings like this one are almost unheard of. This particular cask of Miltonduff was distilled in June 2007 and spent 11 years maturing in a fresh bourbon cask. For the last 6 months of its life it was transferred into a cask which previously held Madeira fortified wine.

How can you make a difference?

We need your support

Our fundraising programme will enable LandAid to fund the provision of 150 bed spaces across all 12 RICS UK regions. If every RICS professional gave £25, our Pledge150 ambition will be achieved and together, we will have made a significant contribution to ending youth homelessness.

Fundraise

Join your regional fundraising team to help us raise the funds required to deliver the target number of bed spaces. The vital funds you raise will support young people in your region, helping them into safe accommodation and towards a more positive future. Whatever fundraising activity you do, you can be sure it will make a big difference.

Pledge your property skills

There may be opportunities to provide pro bono support to local projects through LandAid’s pro bono programme. The type of advice needed will be dependent on the property issues of the frontline charities in your area. Using your property skills to support LandAid is a simple and rewarding way to make a difference. By giving your property expertise, you can gain a real and satisfying level of engagement with charities and work alongside other companies as part of LandAid’s network.
