RICS’ East of England region is part of its national association of England.
Comprising the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, this is the second largest RICS region in England, covering an area of 19,120 sq km.
It is a region of contrast and diversity, where strong historical themes rub shoulders with the latest in knowledge-based industries. While the London commuter belt dominates the south of the area, journeying to the north and east gives way to beautiful countryside, isolated farming communities and charming seaside resorts.
There are some 6,500 RICS members in the East of England. The regional board was established to raise the profile of chartered surveyors living and working in the area, and to engage with decision-makers on a regional level.
