This seminar utilises current Malaysian small projects case study to identify the current ideal digital design and delivery environment, using best practice international standards, and contrasts it with current traditional reality. It then considers the overall industry environment and what steps are necessary to achieve a complete digital design and delivery environment.

Learning outcomes

  1. Case study description and setting of generic project management objectives.
  2. Hands-on design process (Revit based), demonstrating where information is needed, where it is available in digital format or not, the sharing of project information with all stakeholder groups in digital or conventional format; local authority, design team, supply chain, client.
  3. Analysis of the gap between desired digital state and traditional reality - what was being done and needs to be done to improve.
