Tickets available US$20Book now
Dr. Mark Gilberg, the Project Manager and his staff from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) will lead a tour off Watts Towers, which is not currently open to the public.
Following a presentation there will be a unique opportunity to go up into the scaffold and see up close the conservation work being carried out by Mark and his team of conservation experts from LACMA.
Given the limited access and frailty of the site, the tour will be limited to 25 people only. Visitors will go up the scaffolding in parties of five and will need to wear hard hats (which can be provided by APT)
After the tour, attendees will be invited to join an informal reception hosted by CBRE at Eureka located nearby Hawthorne Airport.
4:00pm - Meet at Watts Towers
4:30pm - Presentation and tour
6:00pm - Networking at Eureka (12101 Crenshaw Boulevard, Hawthorne, CA 90250)
Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Watts Towers Arts Center.
