Catherine Pfeiffenberger

Chief Strategy Officer, Skanska Commercial Development, USA

As a member of the management team and the Investment Review Committee for the Commercial Development group in the USA, Catherine is responsible for reviewing all acquisitions and divestments. 

She is also responsible for developing long term growth strategies by focusing on the development of new products and expansion into new markets and strategic joint venture relationships. A key part of the firm's strategy is to continually evaluate opportunities where we can innovate and enhance our customers' experience.

Prior to joining Skanska, Catherine had an extensive career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers focused on public finance, project finance, and public private partnerships.

She is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate ("AFIRE") and has been involved with the Urban Land Institute Responsible Property Investing Council and the Green Building Advisory Committee for the New York Academy of Sciences. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the State University of New York at Albany and completed an executive leadership program at IMD.
