Tom is the Chief Appraiser for U.S. Bank where he is responsible for the bank's national commercial real estate appraisal and environmental services. He has been active in the valuation industry for 34 years.
Tom served on the Standards Board of the International Valuation Standards Council from 2008 - 2014. He has previously served on the National Board of Directors of the Appraisal Institute. He has been certified by the Appraisal Foundation's Appraiser Qualifications Board as a USPAP instructor and has authored national seminars for the Appraisal Institute.
Tom has written articles for The Appraisal Journal, The RMA Journal and contributed to the Appraisal Institute's Dictionary of Real Estate Appraisal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance from the University of Oregon.
